Dick Gautier voiced Louis in the series. After Transformers The Movie, he took over the role of Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime, originally played by Judd Nelson, in the third season of the series. He was also the voice of Serpentor in G.I. Joe. He was born on the day before Halloween in 1931 and died in January 31 in 2017.
